Zhen-Chao DONG
University of Science and Technology of China
Prof. Zhen-Chao Dong is a distinguished scientist renowned for his pioneering work in single-molecule optoelectronics and nanoscale spectroscopy. Currently a professor and doctoral supervisor at USTC, he leads cutting-edge research on the integration of scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) with single-photon detection techniques to achieve sub-nanometer spatial resolution in molecular spectral imaging. His groundbreaking contributions include the first visualization of coherent dipole-dipole coupling between adjacent molecules, electrically driven single-molecule photon emission, and plasmon-enhanced Raman imaging at chemical-bond resolution, published in Nature, Nature Photonics, and Nature Nanotechnology.
